Under the sponsorship of YWNLN and as part of International Women’s Day activities, the first press conference of the “Kafa” Platform, affiliated with the Wa’i Foundation, was held on the evening of Wednesday, March 20, 2024, in Hadhramout. The conference aimed to introduce the “Kafa” Platform and its objectives, which focus on serving the community and empowering women.
The event included a welcoming speech delivered by the platform’s president, Somaya Ba Ali, followed by discussions with journalists and media professionals about the platform’s goals, future plans, and proposed solutions to address societal challenges. The activity emphasized empowering and supporting women through the “Kafa” Platform, aiming to be a voice for the voiceless women and a pathway to addressing their issues within the community.
