During the coming period, YWLN will plan to undertake a wide range of activities aimed at advancing women’s issues in Yemen:

Preparatory phase including work plan and methodology:

Drafting the first YWLN Profile and establishing the YWLN’s Website and platform.

Enabling access to information, resources, and tools

1. Conducting SWOT analysis for YWLN members.
2. Surveys on the financial/resources analysis and the size of the funds for YWLN members.

Strategic drafting and policy-making for YWLN at all levels

1. Literature review of the existing documents (Strategy, policies, and Action Plans), of YWLN members.
2. Drafting YWLN’s (Strategy, policies, and Action Plan).

First Funding Portfolio to Support Civil Institutions for Yemeni Women

Establishing and participating in “Strengthening the Yemeni Women’s Humanitarian Response Program”

1. The impact of women’s humanitarian programs on the humanitarian community.
2. Responsive budgets for specialized projects for women.
3. Integration between women and men in Yemen and the challenges of statistics.
4. Advocacy and building alliances and networks.
5. Training courses on methods of joint work with national groupings in various conferences, workshops and, seminars on “Development of Women Leaders”,
6. Hold periodic meetings dedicated to women’s participation in the development of Yemen’s SME sector, with the support and participation of trusted donors and other humanitarian actors in Yemen.
