Established in 2023, Yemeni Woman Consortium (YWC) is the first funding portfolio to support civil society organizations for Yemeni women managed by YWLN with international standards that provides high-quality programs to beneficiaries across Yemen. Yemeni Woman Consortium (YWC) Programs will be Directed to Women, Young Girls, Children, Vulnerable and Host Communities and internally displaced people in Yemen. Through Yemeni Woman Consortium (YWC),YWLN seeks to facilitate people-centered development programs,  support crisis intervention as well as livelihood-focused initiatives for Yemeni women that create opportunities for women, young girls, children, vulnerable host communities, IDPs, marginalized and disadvantaged.

Starting with 12 Yemeni women’s CSOs across the country, YWOC will be subject to the highest standards in critical areas including protection, Health/ reproductive health, gender-based violence, legal aid, food security, development, environmental sanitation, and community mobilization, education, and crisis intervention.

Establish highly trained and engaged teams at the field level and provide Yemeni women’s civil society organizations with appropriate funding to implement interventions, investments, and humanitarian initiatives that will be useful in developing solutions focused on Yemeni women and local communities in Yemen.

Working in 21 governorates across the country, the Yemeni Women’s Leadership Network through YWOC will focus on ensuring high-quality, beneficiary-focused solutions for Yemeni women, with a focus on vulnerable communities on the frontlines of conflict, displacement, famine, and economic collapse.
