During many years of humanitarian work in Yemen, and responding to the needs of the country’s most vulnerable communities, Yemeni women’s civil society organizations have been convinced that the role of Yemeni women is essential to social, economic, and political change in Yemen.   Frustrated by the lack of support and funding as well as a lack of interventions that would directly support vulnerable families in Yemen, especially those women caring for their families when their fathers, brothers, and husbands passed in the past 8 Years of conflict.
